HONG KONG UNIVERSITY AND

CULTURAL RELATIONS WITH CHINA,

With reference te item 6 of the Minutes of

the 29th meeting I circulate for the Committee's

consideration a kemerandum by Lord Lugard.

Lord Lugard, besides being an ex-Governor of the

Colony, is a Life Member of the Court of the

University, and a kember of its Lendon Consulting

Committee. He is also the Representative on the

Universities' Bureau of the Hong Kong University and

a Member of the Universities China Committee.
